Assessment Score Reference Placemat
A school psych cheat sheet for psychologists who explain scores: pick a score type and one page shows the bell curve with its SD markers, what the score means in plain words, a caution and neutral report-language starters. The files open in Microsoft Excel and in Google Sheets, have no macros and nothing to install, and are yours to reuse as often as you like.
What it does
- Psych Placemat: choose a topic; standard score (100/15), scaled score (10/3), T score (50/10), z score (0/1), percentile rank and confidence interval are each written out in full
- The normal curve shows the 34.1 / 13.6 / 2.1 % areas and SD ticks, and the markers panel turns them into the scale you picked, with the percentile at each marker
- How to explain a score: the topic in plain words for families, plus a caution such as percentile rank is not percent correct
- Report language reference: neutral sentence starters to adapt to your manual and team
- Psych Setup tab: a title and your own note for each topic; switching topics never erases them
- Psych Reference tab: every word the placemat shows is editable, including the means, SDs and explanations
- 6 printable placemats, one page per topic, in US Letter and 11x17 (tabloid), with a notes box
- Opens in Excel and in Google Sheets
