SLP Personalized Placemat

An SLP cheat sheet that personalizes itself: a speech therapy reference chart with age norms, articulation, phonological processes and AAC that lights up whatever applies to the student in front of you, then prints as a desk placemat. The files open in Microsoft Excel and in Google Sheets, have no macros and nothing to install, and are yours to reuse as often as you like.

What it does

  • Students tab: one row per student, up to 250, with date of birth (age works itself out), grade, Primary Concern, AAC level and an x under each sound, process or sign that applies
  • Student View: pick a student and their age-band norms, target sounds, phonological processes, language components, AAC column, red flags, swallowing signs and notes light up
  • Brain illustration with nine labelled areas that light up from the Primary Concern, using a Brain Area Map you can change on Settings
  • Placemat: the same reference page without a student, with a blank notes box for handwriting
  • Settings: rename the concern, AAC level and grade lists and edit the Brain Area Map
  • Print a blank placemat or a student copy with their highlights and notes; ages update on their own as the year goes on
  • Opens in Excel and in Google Sheets
